Welcome to Harbour Heights on the web. Harbour Heights is a waterfront community on the beautiful Peace River on the west coast of Florida. This community was originally developed in the early 1950s by the Charlotte County Land & Title Company. The developer platted the land, dug the canals, and created the streets. The theme in the marketing materials was "Life begins at Harbour Heights." The community initially had a clubhouse, pool (the largest on the west coast of Florida at the time it was built), tennis courts, docks, boat launch, and shuffleboard courts. Today those facilities have been taken over by the county and comprise the Harbour Heights Park. (The pool was filled in by the county because of the cost of maintenance.)
